We love our dining room but it is true that for some of you, the noise was just too loud. Unfortunately, the combination of concrete floor, bluestone and rendered walls and flat ceiling meant that there was nothing but flat, hard surfaces and therefore nothing to soak up any noise - and you'd be surprised how much noise happy diners can make!
Now the dining room has a carpet floor and the noise levels have dropped considerably. And it looks good.
