The Terminus is a great local pub (even if we do say so ourselves!).
Head chef, Matt Merrick's menu has gradually evolved and the new 2010 winter menu is brilliant. It features game and braises and slow cooking, it's packed with seasonal produce, it's comfort food...and you'd never guess that Matt's English!!

- Slow cooked lamb shanks, button mushrooms, pearl onions, smoked bacon, red wine sauce, pomme puree 28.50

The same menu is served in both the dining room, where table service is provided, and in the more casual front bar.
The bar features 9 beers on tap and we specialise in Australian (especially Victorian) microbreweries. In the fridge we have a wide selection of Australian and imported boutique beers.
The wine list is a varied, well-priced selection of Australian and New Zealand wines, featuring some old favourites but also a bunch of little-known but highly rated wines.
The Terminus is open from 12pm Wednesday to Sunday, and 5pm on Monday and Tuesday.
Dinner is served from 6pm every night and lunch is served between 12 and 2pm on Wednesday to Sunday.
The dining room is open from 6pm Tuesday to Saturday and you can call 9481 3182 to reserve a table. The bar is open 7 nights a week and the same menu is served in both the bar and dining room.
